Kodon submissions, Spring 2026. 

Submissions are open January 20 through February 3 at 11:59 pm. We do not accept late submissions.    

We're looking for student work in the following genres for both our themed and our un-themed sections:

ART    

CREATIVE NON FICTION    

FICTION    

POETRY  

Our Spring 2026 theme is wonder. What inspires you? What are your burning questions, big and small? What in life sparks your sense of wonder? We want to hear about it! Submit your poetry, art, fiction, and creative nonfiction that springs from your own wonderings and inspires ours, too.

The spring issue has a themed and un-themed section. The theme is meant to be guiding, rather than restrictive. If you feel that your piece does not fit the theme, you are welcome to submit to the un-themed section.

You may submit to multiple genres. Please upload submissions in one file as a Word Document or PDF for prose and poetry, or as a .jpg or .png for art. We do accept simultaneous submissions, but please note where else you have submitted.

We DO NOT accept fan-fiction, AI-assisted works, or replicas of existing works of art.
